For ten years, Vera Asadchikh from Kursk, Russia has combined being a Sales Leader with being a happy wife and mother of three children.

“I’ve always dreamt of having a big family, and at the same time I’ve wanted to succeed professionally. But unfortunately, in our city, as in many other cities in Russia, there are very few opportunities to build your own business without start-up capital,” she says. “Avon was a discovery for me that completely changed my life. Today I successfully balance motherhood with my favourite business.”

Avon is more than a business to Vera – it is an opportunity that she has seized. “What I love the most about Avon is the career opportunities that are open to every new beauty entrepreneur, regardless of level of education or residence. Anyone can succeed here by demonstrating self-development skills and desire to follow your dreams,” she says.

But Vera’s success is not just down to her – she’s equally proud of her team. “My sales team is my pride! For 6 years in a row we’ve been leaders in the Star Club programme. And for the past 4 years, thanks to our fantastic results, I’ve been included in the Top 70 Best Leaders list in the country.”  

She won’t stop now. “My key priority for now is achieving the new Diamond bonus in 2020!” she says. “My motto is to never give up! Failure is just a new experience – you have to learn from it to grow as a person. That’s what I do.”
