Woman of the Week: Grace Vinarao

Grace Vinarao, a single mum to 3 adult children, smiles as she refers to her work as “a hand me down business” – her mum was a successful Representative for many years.

“After my graduation from college my mum convinced me to work with her as I could work flexibly so could take care of my kids,” she remembers. Since then, Grace has gone from strength to strength, including winning multiple awards.

Her favourite thing about being a Representative, however, is supporting others to thrive. “I find fulfilment in seeing someone become successful because of my mentorship. I think I inherited this from my mum – she’s the greatest mentor both in life and business,” says Grace.

Grace’s advice to other Representatives is clear. “Be sincere in what you do by heart, walk the talk, consider all the things you think, say or do,” she says. “Equip yourself with new knowledge and keep on learning especially about trends, product benefits, etc and stay up to date with IT.”

She also has great advice for her customers, saying, “Learn the basics of skincare and make up – this will make you feel good inside and outside too!”
