#AndràTuttoBene: everything will be fine

In Italy, the country worst hit by Covid-19 in Europe, Avon is contributing to efforts to slow down the spread of the virus and keep people safe.

For every single order received Avon Italy is donating €1 to the Department of Civil Protection, the government arm responsible for coordinating civil protection policies and activities, in partnership with the NGO 1Caffè Onlus, which connects companies with civil society organisations.  This donation will be used to help hospitals and healthcare personnel, including through supplying necessary medical equipment for intensive care departments such as respirators as well as new protective materials for medical professionals.

“We’re doing what we can to help people in our country in a concrete way in this unprecedented moment of need.  With our partner 1Caffè Onlus we have created the ‘Together for Italy’ project, for which Avon is the first major supporter, agreeing that Civil Protection was the best way to positively impact women and their families in our communities,” says Paola Baravalle, Head of Communication IMED at Avon.

Across Italy Avon’s representatives, associates and customers are joining the #AndràTuttoBene [everything will be fine] movement, sharing positivity and solidarity. Avon has dramatically ramped up digital support to help our Representatives and their customers connect online, to support relationships and communities during social distancing.
