Avon Products, Inc. appoints Matthieu Comard as Group Vice-President Western Europe

Avon Products, Inc. today announced the appointment of Matthieu Comard as Group Vice-President Western Europe, effective 1 November 2017. Mr. Comard’s general management responsibilities will encompass the UK, Italy, Spain Portugal and Greece. In his new role, Mr. Comard will report to Avon’s Global President, Miguel Fernandez.

Mr. Comard joined Avon earlier this year as Group Vice-President, Commercial Operations, and has since been leading the acceleration of the company’s service model, specifically to improve Representatives’ experience working with Avon.

He led Diageo Benelux to double digit growth in what was a challenging and mature market and drove the company’s global travel retail division to becoming a top 3 supplier as rated by international retailers.”

He will be replacing Andrea Slater, who after a successful 20 years with the business, has made the decision to leave Avon to pursue a portfolio career. This will allow her to change gears and spend more time with her family.
