Avon is launching Her Wisdom, a breakthrough new body care brand arriving in September 2026. Rooted in the authentic beauty rituals of women from across Africa, China and Egypt, Her Wisdom translates centuries of time-tested knowledge into nine luxurious, efficacious products across three distinct ingredient collections. 

The concept behind Her Wisdom is a simple but powerful one: while our busy social feeds are full of beauty advice, there exists a quieter, deeper wisdom that has been passed from mother to daughter for generations. These are beauty secrets forged by women living in extreme conditions, refined over centuries, and proven by time itself. Her Wisdom by Avon exists to share this knowledge with women everywhere, wrapped in unique textures and sensorial formats. 

Baobab, the Tree of Life 

The hero collection within Her Wisdom is built around baobab, the Tree of Life. Long revered by women across the African savannah as a secret weapon against the most punishing conditions, baobab oil has been passed down through generations as the ultimate skin-nourishing ritual. Its ability to help deeply nourish and restore the skin’s barrier, even against winds, rains and extreme heat, has made it one of the most trusted ingredients in African beauty heritage.

Avon’s Her Wisdom Baobab collection harnesses the most potent actives from the baobab plant, combining baobab extract and baobab oil to deeply nourish, restore the skin’s barrier and deliver visibly stronger, more resilient skin. The collection is infused with a cocooning, woody gourmand scent of warm dusk, designed to last all day. 

The Baobab collection includes three products: 

  • Whipped Oil Body Cream: deeply nourishing, this rich yet lightweight formula visibly restores the skin’s barrier while protecting against dryness with clinically proven 72-hour moisture1. 9/10 women said it works like a luxurious product2.

Her Wisdom launches with two further collections, each rooted in the beauty rituals of women from a different part of the world.

Sim Sim, the Queen of Oils, is inspired by the ancient Egyptian tradition of Sim Sim oil, a beauty secret passed down from Cleopatra’s era by women living in sun-dried deserts to keep their skin glowing with health. Rich in omega 6 and 9, the Sim Sim collection delivers lasting radiance and an uplifting, floral amber scent of sunshine.
