Avon honoured by Women's Forum of New York

On November 14, Avon was honoured by the Women’s Forum of New York at the fourth biennial Breakfast of Corporate Champions for achieving at least 40% female representation on their board.

The biennial Women’s Forum of New York “Breakfast of Corporate Champions” honors the S&P 500 and Fortune 1000 companies with at least 25% women on their boards, giving special recognition to those, including Avon, championing gender parity who have already achieved at least 40 percent female representation on their boards. 

The event brought together an audience of over 600, including CEOs and Board Directors along with business leaders, government officials, thought leaders and influential media in special recognition of forward-thinking companies.

Josie Adams, Vice President, Worldwide New Product Engineering & Development & Research & Development Commercialisation accepted the award on behalf of Avon.
