Once you get into Avon, it’s such a intimate connection, most of my clients are now my friends and I think it’s such a beautiful family. So, my Avon community, I’ve managed to set people up in business. To see that other women are being financially free and are able to do something for themselves, is what really gives me the fulfilment.

Just last year, my husband and our three girls were able to make a trip back home to Ghana. It cost an arm and a leg. If I didn’t do Avon, I wouldn’t have that extra money to make that trip, and that trip was very important, so the financial independence has been mind-blowing.

As a mum, the flexibility really encouraged me to go into Avon because I get to do things a mum would love to do for her children, and still earn money and be financially independent.

When I started Avon, I knew nothing about skin care, I knew nothing about make-up, but now people actually learn from me. It’s about progressing and growing as a person.

I love fashion, I love to look good. I’m able to afford all those things and that has given me such a mental freedom. Basically, it’s given me more happiness than I used to have.
