Avon Colombia receives top ranking from Young Professionals, as one of the best companies to work for

Avon Colombia has been identified as one of the best companies to work for by ‘Young Professionals in Colombia’, as part of the Adecco Employers for Youth study.
 
Avon ranked in the top 15 alongside companies like Nestle, Adidas and Accenture.
 
Among the main attributes that Avon employees cited they would recommend working at Avon for, the benefits package came out on top with over a quarter of respondent highlighting it, followed by learning and development, work environment, wages, quality of life, job stability, image and CSR.
 
The study, which surveyed young people currently working in companies in Colombia, also recognised that despite the fact that there is an increasingly high turnover of millennials in organisation, Avon has a great ability to retain talent. 70% of Avon respondents said they have been with the company for more than 2 years.
 
This recognition follows a conscious effort by the team in Colombia to support young professionals, after identifying a growing trend of youth unemployment in the country, with many other companies avoiding the younger age group due to "lack of experience". 40% of Avon’s workforce is now under the age of 29.
