Avon proudly joins industry peers in sustainable packaging initiative

We are committed to making the world a more beautiful place. Not only through our products, our people, and our support for women's causes, but also through our environmental sustainability.

As part of this commitment to environmental sustainability, we are proud to join industry peers as members of the newly formed Sustainable Packaging Initiative for Cosmetics (SPICE).

As a SPICE member, Avon is collaborating with other cosmetics companies to increase sustainable packaging options for cosmetic products. SPICE will focus on innovation and design to decrease the environmental impact of cosmetics packaging, as well as develop methodologies to help companies make informed decisions on sustainable improvements to packaging.

At Avon we aim to minimise the environmental impact of our packaging by reducing or eliminating unnecessary packaging and using post-consumer recycled materials, refills and bio-based packaging resins, wherever possible. By the end of 2018 we are committed to eliminating PVC (polyvinyl chloride) packaging in all finished beauty products produced for our brands, and we are currently evaluating our full product portfolio to establish additional measurable sustainable packaging goals.
