Avon Argentina walks for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
An Avon event in Argentina has spread the message of breast cancer awareness to over 14,000 people. The 14th edtion of the Avon Argentina Walk was a fun, yet educational event to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month. General Manager Axel Gegenschatz and Florencia Yanuzzio from the Avon Foundation presented the campaign.
With quizzes and audience participation the name of the game, this event saw queues of people waiting to learn more about breast cancer. There were games for participants to learn more about the myths, risks and signs of breast cancer.
The Avon Foundation volunteer Representatives who joined the campaign received a kit and digital assets to help them spread the word. With articles in the Avon Representative magazine, and press kits sent to key influencers and the media, it’s another successful event to support Avon’s Breast Cancer Promise and the #PinkLightProject, which aims to educate 100 million globally on the risks and signs of breast cancer.
