Avon wins in two major categories at the Pure Beauty Awards, highlighting leading innovation work

Two category wins at Pure Beauty Awards

Avon has won in two categories at the Pure Beauty Awards which took place at the Savoy Hotel in London on Thursday 25 October. The awards recognise innovation and creativity within the beauty industry and acknowledge the best in beauty with the most efficacious, exciting and innovative products launched over the past 12 months.

Avon took gold in the ‘Best New Anti-Ageing Product’ category for its breakthrough product Infinite Effects which has consistently made editor’s top beauty buys across the globe. Avon also won silver in the Best New Fragrance category for Eve Duet, which also won the Fragrance Foundation Award (the ‘Oscars of the fragrance world’) earlier this year.

Winning these two awards reflects the leading innovation work Avon has invested in both categories – anti-ageing skincare and fragrance. In skincare, the team worked hard to develop a first-of-its-kind technology which combines two different night creams that need to be rotated every seven days to prevent the user’s skin from adapting too comfortably the skincare regime.

Eve Duet also signals a new era in fragrance as the perfume works on the premise of layering – a concept that enables consumers to change, adapt and personalise their fragrance by dialing two complementary scents up or down, depending on individual preference.
