Avon Romania holds a pink light concert for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Avon’s #PinkLightProject is spreading a pink beacon of hope around the world, and reached Romania with a star-studded concert, raising funds for M.A.M.E Association, who support women diagnosed with breast cancer.

It’s another successful event to support Avon’s Breast Cancer Promise, which aims to educate 100 million globally on the risks and signs of breast cancer.

Avon Romania organised an amazing charity concert for 450 people, including Avon employees, the sales force and members of the public. The crowd enjoyed an evening of entertainment with a pink theme, and acts included Antonia, a famous Romanian singer who is also Avon’s Hair Care Ambassador, and pop rock band VUNK. The event raised an amazing $6180, which far exceeded expectations, and raised awareness of breast cancer for Breast Cancer Awareness Month too.
