Avon Romania has been ranked #1 cosmetics brand on Top Social Brand’s annual list, which showcases brands with the most innovative online presence, ranking at #4 in the all companies listing.
The list, compiled by Biz Redaction, sees Avon overtake global mega-brands in Romania such as L’oreal (#24) and Maybelline (#60). Winners are based on results compiled from ZeList Monitor (a website informing people on brand specific social media posts and blog articles that have the highest reach and the biggest engagement rate), as well as a detailed set of data and analytics.
Brands are then reviewed based on all their online content across a number of key social media channels including Facebook, Facebook Groups, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram, in addition to any other specialised channels the brand has used for promotional purposes.
Biz Magazine states, “Avon Romania started the year celebrating one million fans on Facebook. They had an increase of over 70k fans on Facebook, a steady, organic, monthly growth of 600 followers on Instagram and an increase of 4.5 k subscribers on YouTube. They are active on almost every social media platform, including LinkedIn and Twitter.
