Last week, Avon UK launched its Smarter Beauty mission to enable all women to experience high quality, premium beauty, without the premium price tag.
An all-star beauty industry line-up of media, influencers and Avon Representatives gathered in London for the launch of the campaign, which was hosted by Avon’s Chief Scientific Officer, Louise Scott, and the UK’s General Manager, Matthieu Comard.
The event marked the launch of The Beauty Broadsheet, an insight into Avon, its network of Representatives that provide a personal and tailored service to Avon customers, and the trends that are making waves in the beauty industry.
Millie Kendall, of the British Beauty Council, led a discussion exploring some of the themes from the global beauty landscape, while author, presenter, actress, blogger, and vlogger, Giovanna Fletcher, chaired a ‘Smarter Beauty’ panel alongside beauty journalist Annabel Jones.
The panel, attended by 35 top Avon Representatives, looked at the shift in women’s careers from the more traditional to increasingly flexible roles, and the important role social media has played in building personal and business brands.
As Avon UK’s Representative Ambassador, Giovanna also hosted an intimate dinner with her network of influencers, to promote her partnership with Avon and discuss trends, products and hear first-hand how our Representatives inspire women across the globe.
