Avon Poland Takes on Breast Cancer with Pink Ribbon Day

Avon Poland saw over 8,000 attendees celebrate Pink Ribbon Day earlier this year, including local Polish celebrities such as Malgorzata Kozuchowska, who dyed her hair pink for the occasion. The event, which is due to be repeated later this month, featured free ultrasounds for women and meetings with doctors who showed how to do self-breast checks. There were live demos showing how to make healthy meals and makeup artists providing makeup and manicures using Avon products. At the event, the Poland team announced funding for 7,000 breast cancer examinations in October.
