Avon opens flagship store in Shanghai

As part of our Open Up & Grow strategy , we’re exploring all avenues to reach our consumers to create a high touch, omnichannel experience. Centred around Representatives who share beauty through relationships – both physical and digital – we will ensure we provide access to consumers around the world allowing them to shop whenever and wherever they want to.

In some markets, that’s also via a physical store where customers can experience the brand and get expert advice and that’s just what we’re doing in Mainland China where we recently opened our first flagship store on Nanjing West Road in Shanghai.

It offers a truly immersive experience, with an interactive area for customers to try out products such as ANEW Renewal Activating Serum with Protinol ™ and the best-selling Little Black Dress fragrance and a social media corner with a livestreaming studio. And of course, plenty of places to take a selfie.

China is the world's second-largest beauty and personal care product market today after the US and has proved to be resilient despite the pandemic. Avon’s APAC R&D Centre is also located in Shanghai to facilitate locally relevant innovation and speed to market.
