Woman of the Week: Rudzani Mukheli

“Know what you want and you will get it!” is Rudzani’s motto – and when you meet her, you know exactly why! Her smile and warmth exude confidence.     

Her love of Avon dates back ten years to her student days at The University of South Africa. She was instantly drawn to the products and she quickly saw the opportunity to build herself a better life. Rudzi’s mother, an Avon Manager at that time, was also a powerful inspiration in her life and Rudzi quickly decided to follow in her footsteps and join the Avon world. “I became a Sales Leader and I’ve never looked back” she says.  

“Over the years I’ve seen how Avon has done great things for me” she says. Rudzi  remembers how her first commission from Avon built up her excitement and motivation to keep recruiting and building a team of her own. She enjoyed it so much that even after graduating and starting her first job, she continued her Avon business. Now, she says, she “literally can’t live without it”.

Rudzi combines offline and digital sales to maximise her sales potential, “Avon On is one of the best apps Avon provides. It has good marketing tools and most of my new Reps love it as it’s not complicated”. Even the Covid-19 lockdown did not deter her and she kept going, “I continued posting my Avon products as usual and told myself that I’m not going to dwell on the negative because my Avon money is my bread and butter. My perseverance paid off”.

Rudzi has high hopes for the future, “I’ve got confidence in Avon and I know that whatever happens, Avon will always be there”.
