Woman of the Week: Fatma Sena Karaloğlu

Turkey Beauty Entrepreneur

Twenty-year-old Fatma Sena Karaloğlu has been an Avon beauty entrepreneur for just over two years and she first found out about Avon following a chance encounter with an existing Avon Rep, Emine Oğuz, while at an airport.

Emine told her all about Avon, its purpose and the fact it is a great earnings opportunity for young women who love beauty.

Fatma works with Avon part-time and is also a first-year university student, studying psychology. Her ambition is to study for a master’s degree in neuropsychology overseas. To help her fund her studies she applied to the Avon Foundation’s Scholarship programme, and was one of the lucky recipients of the US$2,100 grant earlier this year.

In her home town of Ankara she lives with her family and when she’s not studying or selling Avon products, she has been an assistant volleyball coach at the Fenerbahçe Sport Club and loves swimming, camping, nature and reading books.

“I’d heard about Avon before, but I had never thought about being a Rep, because I didn’t realise the privileges available to Reps. Most especially, Avon’s global scholarship programme made me curious about Avon. Avon makes my life beautiful, I look forward to continuing to be a part of this family .”
